GBM is able to make thermodynamic calculations (starting from process data sheets), to engineer and manufacture TEMA “Shell & Tube” Heat Exchangers and Hairpin Heat Exchangers according to ASME VIII Div. 1 part UHX, EN 13445 and further main International Codes. Construction material can be Carbon steel, Low alloy Steel (Cr-Mo), Austenitic stainless steel, Duplex and Super-duplex stainless steel, Alloy steel and Non ferrous alloy, made with Integral material or cladded (cladding is carried out internally) for low, medium or high pressure. Fields of application: Petrochemical, Oil & Gas (Offshore or Onshore), Gas Process, Vacuum technology, Chemicals, Power, Cogeneration and Ecology.

SPARE BUNDLES / TUBE-SHEET
Seamless or welded tubes, smooth or finned; Tube bundle U-shape or straight with stationary or Floating head, Coil pipe. Tube-sheets in Carbon Steel, Stainless steels or alloy steels, non ferrous alloy: cladded or Integral. Both the cladding (weld overlay) and the machining are performed in GBM shops. Our company manufactures tube-sheets with standard machining with or without grooves in holes or special preparation.
DOUBLE PIPE & MULTI-TUBES EXCHANGERS
Double pipe & Multi tubes (“Pipe in pipe” or “Hairpins”) heat-exchangers made in Counter-flow or parallel – flow are useful for low flow and duty and could equipped with special inserts in order to increase thermal efficiency. They are used in Counter-flow solution, when high temperature cross from the fluids is present.
Bayonet exchangers are usually inserted into tanks or process vessels to heat or cool the liquid contents (for instance evaporation process).
FINNED TUBE – SPECIAL AIR COOLERS
This type of Exchangers is special because “Low finned tubes” and “Finned tubes” are used respectively for Standard Shell & Tube Heat exchangers and Gas to Liquid Heat exchangers, where one or both media are “under pressure” or where gas media has got particular needs (aggressiveness, toxicity or simple dangerous). GBM doesn’t manufacture standard “Batteries”.

GLYCOL / SALT BATH HEATERS
In Indirect Bath Heaters vessels are filled with a mixture of water, water and glycol, mineral oil or salt, depending on the final temperature required; one or more flame tubes (or electric bundles) are generally used to increase the temperature of a process stream (oil or mixture of gases) trough a coil or a bundle immerged in the bath. They are generally used:
• To heat high pressure gas and/or oil in oilfield production or for the production of well streams.
• To heat high pressure gas prior to pressure reduction to prevent hydrate formation.
• To heat highly viscous oils to reduce pumping pressures and to boost pumping efficiency.
